    In Astrology The Moon is the significator of Distribution system and the Personality. It rules distribution system because of its fast circulation around the Earth (Birth Chart). As birth chart is actually sub division of the earth. If you are a regular reader of our articles / website; you may be well known of the fact that, I have stated some where else that our birth chart or Kundli  come into its existence after we divided the earth’s circle into 12 pie shape portion. Each of this 12 pie shaped portion is called house of the birth chart means they represent different sector of our life. As moon (because of her speed) passes quickly thought each one of these 12 houses, she by doing this revitalized all the houses one by one. No other planet can do this so rapidly not even swiftest Mercury or The Sun. That is why she has been given the Tag of distribution system of our body. 

And I describe Moon; as the ruler of the personality in our birth chart, which I have already mentioned while describing the Nature and characteristics of the Sun in the article called The Sun in Astrology, to some extent. Here describing her further that is because of the Moon’s duplicity (receiving and reflecting the light of Sun) and more behaving like a lens, she does not looks like what she actually is. So also we do in our day to day life. Be usually in some cases try to be what we are actually not. This is called personality (mean what we looks like). Now here we can see by observing the behavior of the Moon that she is more like distributing Solar Vitality / Energy / Prana Vayu in our body after receiving it from Sun.

She can distribute as much as she can receive from the Sun. And Suppose if the Sun is not in good position in Horoscope or Birth chart how she (Moon) can distribution more then she get. The only function of The Moon is to circulate the energy correctly, what ever amount is available. Its is decided or judged by the Sun’s position in birth char that how much vital energy is  be there, to be distributed by the Moon. So we can say that after the Importance of the Sun (Vital Energy) there no way Moon is less then that as she distribute the same. As although The Sun possesses this but he is unable to do this so quickly because he travel slowly and took one year to complete the one cycle, where as moon does complete a lunar cycle in 27-28 days.

So also these two luminary effect our health a lot good or bad according to the Aspect. Even if one of these Luminary ( Sun and Moon ) is disturbed in the birth chart either because of there unfavorable position in the chart or because of their bad astrological aspect with the other planets of the Horoscope /  birth chart. Our health is bound to get disturbed sooner or later in the life. But which body part with cause the problem is of course beyond the limit of this article. Moon is a bridge between our life ( The Sun ) and our Body (Earth / Kundli). Bad Astrological aspect received by the Moon in any birth chart indicate, a defective distribution system for sure.

In Astrology the Moon is the ruler of Adaptability and emotions and mobility. Monthly cycles in woman also have direct concern with Moon, It is very fertile planet. And in Astrology she is also the significator of females, mother, common people, fast consumable items, Liquids, Vegetable, Water, Oceans and emotions.

Because of her fluctuating nature the house and the Sign in which the Moon is place in any birth chart, demonstrate some changeability and fluctuations in the matter signified by the house and the Sign. This could be for good or bad according to the again the nature of the astrological aspect she is receiving by other planets.
